The USGT Method for Suspender Tensioning of Self-Anchored Suspension Bridges

چکیده

Unlike earth-anchored suspension bridges, self-anchored bridges (SASBs) involve a special construction stage, namely, suspender tensioning, in which the tensioning force and sequence are crucial complicated. Against this background, an example bridge A, SASB with steel-concrete composite beam, is introduced detail. Using MIDAS finite element software, scheme formulated based on combination method of unstrained state graded tension (the USGT method), tensioned according to its length. By analyzing bending moment change beam deflection main cable throughout entire process, “high-to-low” proposed that also involves symmetrical from towers midspan or anchor positions. In optimized deviation stress controlled well, thereby ensuring safety process.
